One of the real bonuses of this time has been our developing relationship with student Rabbi Rafi Kaiserblueth who has joined us for several weekends. Many of you have already met him and been impressed with his knowledge, humour and inter-personal skills.

Rabbi David Kunin and his wife Shelley are to join us in March 2009 staying through to June 2009, they come from Edmonton, Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity to have an experienced Rabbi for an extended period and we look forward to them joining us.

For the weekend 24/25October 2008, Rabbi Marc Loeb of Baltimore visited us a guest Rabbi. Rabbi Loeb is a distinguished Conservative Rabbi who has recently retired and may also consider joining us next year to work in the community for sometime.

Together with regular visits from Chazzan Jacky Chernett, Shelicha Reli Israeli and Assembly of Masorti Synagogues Director Michael Gluckman, you can see we have exciting times ahead.
