Rafi Kaiserblueth was born in Puerto Rico, USA and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He went to Israel for his first year out of high school on the Nativ Program and eventually earned a degree in Military History from Columbia University in New York and a degree in Talmud from the Jewish Theological Seminary, New York concurrently.

Following graduation, he lived and worked in Argentina with the Jewish community, both in Buenos Aires and in the provinces to the north. It was during this year of work and immersion that Rafi decided to apply to Seminary and entered the following year to begin the process of becoming a rabbi.
