Building Development Fund launches with SAMS Buy-a-Brick Fundraiser

'Commemorate special occasions by purchasing SAMS 'virtual bricks' on behalf of family and friends and help us to meet our target of 30,000 bricks sold.'

It has been a long-term ambition of the community to eventually have a permanent home for SAMS and we are already searching for appropriate premises.

To support this effort, Council has sanctioned the establishment of a Building Development Fund which will provide a platform for future fundraising efforts in connection to this project.

SAMS Buy-a-Brick campaign aims to raise £300,000 by selling 30,000 'virtual bricks' at only £10 each.  A beautiful certificate will be presented to each purchaser as a lasting reminder and, with their permission, a record of the donation will be inscribed in a commemorative book which will be on permanent display in our eventual building.

The search for our own purpose built synagogue is now on and we need your support to make this happen. We will be sending out a special flyer to the whole community inviting everyone to purchase as many 'virtual bricks' as they would like. This will be an ongoing campaign and regular updates will appear in SAMS Newsletter and on the website.

Meanwhile we can be found at our regular weekly address-please contact the Shul office for details.
